Fondue: as simple as it is good: the cubes of bread dipped in cheese melted in wine is a classic of Swiss winter cuisine. try also this lentil cappuccino recipe too.

Ingredients

Main course For 4 people

3 dl of white wine

2 tablespoons of corn starch

4 cloves of garlic

800 g fondue cheese mixture, e.g. moitiƩ moitiƩ

800 g of fondue or baguette bread

pepper from the pepper mill

How to proceed

Preparation: approx. 20 minutes

Mix a little wine with the corn starch and set aside. Cut the garlic cloves into slices and place them in a caquelon with the rest of the wine and the cheese mixture. Put the caquelon on the heat and, stirring constantly, melt the cheese. Simmer the fondue for approx. 1 minute. Add the wine with the corn starch and mix well, until the fondue is nice and creamy.
